Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Training

The CRDO Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Equals Good Research Practice workshop is based on the International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) E6(R3) Guideline for Good Clinical Practice and is designed for Investigators and clinical trial site staff involved in the conduct of clinical trials.

The workshop provides a practical introduction to the principles of GCP and their application within the Australian clinical research environment. Participants will learn about participant safety, investigator responsibilities, data integrity, quality by design, critical thinking and risk-proportionate approaches to clinical trial conduct.

The workshop meets the TransCelerate BioPharma minimum GCP training criteria and reflects the enhanced focus on quality management introduced in ICH E6(R3).

From 2026 onwards, all clinical trial staff who are required to undergo GCP training should complete training based on the ICH E6(R3) guideline, in line with international expectations and sponsor requirements.
