Feasibility

You will be working with your external Sponsor to conduct a feasibility assessment for your study at Melbourne Children’s.

From a Sponsor’s perspective, a feasibility assessment checks that you and your study team have the participants, staff, expertise, and resources to successfully conduct the study, according to their requirements and expectations.

From a Site perspective, a feasibility assessment checks that the proposed study meets your institutional and community priorities for research, that the proposed study supports participation by patients from different demographic locations and culturally diverse backgrounds (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples), makes effective use of institutional infrastructure, resources, and facilities, and does not place undue burden on any party involved in the conduct of the study.

For information specific to CSTs run at MCRI see Commercial Trial Capabilities and Facilities and CST Support Services on the MCTC website.
