Externally Sponsored Trials - Sites

An externally sponsored trial (EST) is research that is funded by a commercial or collaborative external group or organisation. ESTs are initiated by external parties but are run onsite by Principle Investigators and site teams who manage the trials conduct at their own site. Commercially Sponsored Trials (CST) are a type of EST.
